A little peek…

I have been busy constructing a new layout for Host Solutions. The past year alone was not a good one as I had been with a previous company in leasing my server. It was disheartening, and I had lost face with not just clients, but users of a website that I use to co-run. However, since moving to another company, I felt putting a better foot forward would be best. Here is a screenshot of the layout to come:

Host Solutions
Packages are still as cheap as $2/month….however, I am comtemplating expanding the hosting packages. However, being old fashion, I see it pointless in charging $70 or more a year for a package that I would never need even 10 percent of the diskspace nor bandwidth. That is truly expensive. I just think it boils down to a bunch of eyecandy. How can you give a shared account on one server, a client who wants a package with 30 GigaBytes of diskspace and 1 terabyte of bandwidth? It sounds a bit fruity to me to offer such a thing, and reminds me of when small companies over three years ago would offer larger packages and one shared account gobbled up the bandwidth. It was ridiculous. Most of the dedicated servers leased are offered 1.5 or 2 Terabytes of bandwidth and 120 GB of diskspace. How is it possible on one server alone to host a shared server client and profit from it? :???:

On the other hand, I am thinking that someone might come and bop me on the head (comment) and explain this to me so I am not as ignorant. I just find myself a bit stubborn to accept the concept.

Anyway… I was graciously recognized by Angela of UnSexy.net for a Brilliant Blog award. I appreciate it, despite my lack of attention to my site. I know I have a lot of content, but I have not added much to it other than movie reviews. In return, I will probably extend the same courtesy to 10 others that I believe deserve such on my next blogging.

Hi Nile! It’s been a long time and I wanted to pop in and say hello. I also want to congratulate you on your Brilliant Blog award. I am happy to see you are getting Hosting Solutions back on track. You must be excited about that. I also took a peek at your designs and it is brilliant the way you are including all of the .php coding along with a regular HTML code. I hope you have a great weekend hon!
