I think it does have something to do with the computer specifications as well. My best friend tried to use Chrome and was highly disappointed with it, however I use it on my computer and love it. In fact, it is now my default browser as it loads much faster than FireFox does for me.
My recent post <a href="http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Charity-lynncom\/~3\/P1D7XJP6VHI\/" target="_blank">Oh What A Tangled Web</a>

I am not going to gush all about Firefox. It has its times. In fact, every browser does. I guess I mainly wrote the post as a result of getting sick of seeing the Google Chrome ads and after my experience. Being a techie, I love to try out new things. It is just disappointing to find it not up to what it says.

Then again, I also believe it depends on the user's computer schematics too.

Linux users myself... I have heard a lot of Mac users have really liked Google Chrome. I just have not found it is refreshing yet.

I use a ChromePlus branded version of the Open Source version of Chrome, and it feels light (not fast per say) but I noticed that it doesn't have the extensibility of Firefox, no matter how much it tries. The GUI is non-standard, which makes it feel uncomfortable to use. It seems to be geared toward Mac users than Windows ones.
