Blonde equals fun, a simple equation

Giving a Chance or Encouraging felons?

Wow! There has been problems for years already about sexual attacks on others in the service, but this is a new one. Perhaps it is a new “death penalty”? Puh, whatever. I thought being in the service was a right and privilege for those with decent morales. I thought there was a background check involved. Well, I guess there is, but unlike the tight securities placed on our airports, our military just might leave an opening for questionable behavior.

How can such an organization find a clear conscience in recruiting convicted felons, especially ones who have have assault and sexual crimes listed on their rap sheet. The military is knowingly allowing this and we are perhaps going to pay for it once something goes wrong. Of course, I may be a pessimist at the moment, but if I were bunked in battle for a couple months next to a sex offender, I might be a bit uncomfortable.

It would not even matter if the person had been convicted as a juvenile, there is no excuse. Perhaps a separate motley group of soldiers should be formed in order to perhaps make it safer for other soldiers with clean records to not worry about being violated or beat by their own comrades? Though it seems a bit extreme, for some, it would be an option worth trying, especially for the wellbeing of all the armed services men and women.
