My All Time Favorite Movies

Below is a listing containing 20 of my all time favorite movies. I recommend them to anyone.

1. The Day After Tomorrow (The suspense and the cg put it wa amazing.)
2. A.I. - Artificial Intelligence (I am a sucker for science fiction and drama.)
3. Dune (Though this 1984 movie was not totally by the book, I liked ths much better than the re-make in 1999.)
4. The Firm (Tom Cruise, need I say more?)
5. American Beauty (This was written so well, and despite some of the dramatization, it was something that probably could be related to a real life experience. I am also a Kevin Spacey fan!)
6. Memoirs of a Geisha (Beautiful story. I loved the kimonos and the techniques gone into.)
7. RV (Very hilarious. The “Big Rolling Turd” is something I will never rent if I went on a road trip. Robin Williams shows his diversity once again.)
8. 300 (Though some of the plot was a bit jaunty, I loved the graphics and all the sexy six packs and muscles. I kept trying to look below the belt.)
9. Pearl Harbor (Very dramatic. The music and graphics as well as the love story put into it was amazing!)
10. Independence Day (The concept of this when I first saw the movie, blew my mind! I kept thinking what if that happened? Oh, and Will Smith was HOT!!!)
11. Roots (I did not mind the length of the movie. I was captivated by it. After reading the book and then watching the movie, Alex Haley is one hell of the writer who has let others in on his family and possibily its similarities to how other African American families have lived.)
12. Pretty In Pink (This is a very endearing movie. I love Molly Ringwald.)
13. Blade (also: Blade 2, and Blade Trinity) (I have always liked vampire movies. The action was a plus factor!)
14. The Matrix (also: Matrix Reloaded, and Matrix Revolutions) The story was very complex. I could never think of something like it. I love the graphics in this series!
15. The Gladiator (The brutality reflects how the Roman Empire was. The cast in this movie did an awesome job. The scenes and even the little things like attire were superbly done!)
16. The Goonies (This adverture of a bunch of adolescents is a great last hoorah before puberty and life might split them apart. Very exciting movie!)
17. The Wizard of Oz I thought it was awesome when Dorothy stepped out of the house and into Oz, and the world was bright, instead of black and white.
18. Y Tu Mama Tambien (Very cool movie putting together two young powerhouse male Mexican actors. They pull off the true Chilango spirit (*chilango - what some of the Mexican lifestyle is called in Mexico City, D.F, Mexico. It is a way they speak. There are words there that are not usually spoken in other parts of the country.)
19. The Terminal (This was amazing how the main character stayed in the airport for so long. I felt bad for him. All he wanted to do was go to the jazz club and then go home. Tom Hanks did a great job!)
20. Amores Perros (Another movie out of Mexico City, D.F., Mexico that involves different scenes and people but their lives all end up connect in the end somehow.)
