My All Time Favorite Songs

Here is a list of my all time favorite songs. I will most likely add to this list. Right now I have 20.

1. “La Vida es Un Carnival” by Celia Cruz (Celia Cruz is the Queen of Salsa and her vibrant beat really is moving.)
2. “Crash into Me” by Dave Matthews Band (I like the way the poetry and song come together.)
3. “Africa” By Toto (The beat is very tantalizing and alluring at the same time.)
4. “The Suffering” by Coheed and Cambria (This is a great ballad song. The video of it reminds me of the old rock vinyl albums with the far out covers.)
5. “Suavamente” by Elvis Crespo (Elvis Crespo is a smooth Puerto Rican and his song make you want to kiss him on the dance floor.)
6. “Sandstorm” by Darude (I love tranz and this was one of the first that I heard and started putting my own moves to at the club.)
7. “Rio” by Duran Duran (Who does not like it?)
8. “Hungry Like the Wolf” by Duran Duran (I thought the synthesizing that the incorporated into his voice was pretty cool. The video was also awesome for its time.)
9. “Rosanna” by Toto (This love ballad makes me want Rosanna to come back and stop breaking the guy’s heart.)
10. “Jump” by Van Halen (Very empowering song. I love the guitars in this!)
11. “California Love” by 2Pac (When I first heard it, it was the rhythm and beat that I liked. Once I understood the lyrics, I really enjoyed it.)
12. “She Said” by Collective Soul (A love ballad. I always liked Collective Soul for their way with words.)
13. “Waiting for a Girl like You” by Foreigner (Love song that has a powerhouse voice.)
14. “Walking Away” by Lifehouse (Lifehouse has always had a way with words. They might be pretty, but they are definitely deep.)
15. “Wish You Were Here” by Incubus (Incubus has great ways to fit their lyrics into the song.)
16. “Sabes a Chocolate” by Kumbia Kings (I never knew I liked cumbia until I heard them. They do a lot of collaborations with English and Spanish speaking music artists. This song is smooth but carries a nice beat that even I will dance to.)
17. “Dia a Dia” by Ruben Blades (Ruben Blades is an accomplished artist amongst the latino music artists. His songs are soothing and his lyrics are poetic. You can almost feel along with his words.)
18. “I Could Fall in Love” by Selena (First time I heard this song, I cried. Well, I also watched the movie too, so I guess it really opened the water works.)
19. “La Isla Bonita” by Madonna (Very unique song for Madonna to sing in the eighties. The beat was sensual and this is more poetic than a song, but it flows so well when I hear it everytime.)
20. “Sailing” by Christopher Cross (This love song has both beautiful music and lyrics.)
