I know two bloggers in my niche, one's a social media guru and the other is an SEO pro. The SEO guy gets about 4 x as much traffic without worrying about posting frequency or loading his hootsuite etc. (400k monthly page views vs. 100k for the social media guy). Social media traffic requires constant activity to keep it up--new blog posts, frequent tweeting, etc. My recent post <a href="http://www.hivehealthmedia.com/gluten-free-fitness-blog-hive-health-media-blog-network/" rel="nofollow">The Gluten Free Fitness blog joins the Hive Health Media Blog Network</a> I still would prefer Google traffic in some respects.
