I have completed quite a bit of pages in the Blinkies section. In fact, I still have O through Z to complete. It seems like a lot and it is, but it is well worth the conversion. I have added a few things to the Webmistress section. There are also a few reads I will be unveiling as well as a few I will be updating. I have been so productive everywhere else but blogging. I guess I cannot win all the time. :sweat:

Blondish.net is CSS Valid on the Sexy Striped Socks layout. It is also XHTML 1.0 Transitional. However, in Firefox, the navigational footer (the three columns below in black) still show up awkward. I am open to insight to correct this as soon as possible. I have used the permalink option in my WordPress as well for my pages and posts. I hope it helps spruce things up around here.

Luis finally got his ass in gear and got Angel into school. He is about two weeks late from attending, but I am glad he is in. I missed his first day, but I intend to see him off to his bus sometime this week and yes, even get a pic or two in. :kiss: Despite Luis’s protestations, he is at fault. He did not apply early on. He wanted to be the responsible parent, and in the meantime drag whatever failings I have done as a mother. His excuses are dillusional, or as I would ludely state, ‘A load of crap!’ He sleeps and neglects Angel. I hear about it from my son’s mouth. It is kind of obvious if Angel asks, “Is daddy at home sleeping?” :shocked: Oh well, we cannot be perfect.

I will be moving back to Mount Vernon come the end of September. It is official as I got the call that my background and credit check passed. I was going to bring down hell if by some strange incident that it would not pass. I have needed to get out on my own. Being at my parents is too sheltering and makes me feel like a mooch no matter how much I help out.

I recently noticed a link in my Blogroll via my WordPress admin panel and clicked on it. The place led to a blog with a layout using an image I put in my Deviantart account. The image was originally a touch up and blend of an image that a friend of mine adored, so I went out of my way to see if I could use it and make a layout for her. When I had received permission, I went ahead. I did not want the main image to be taken, chopped, and redistributed to others. I am not even sure if I want to keep the image on Deviantart anymore if people are going to give it away. I went ahead and left a message on the DA account of the person who made the layout. Frankly, I am not sure what I can do, but ask for them to stop redistributing and using my images without permission.

I usually start promoting Breast Cancer Awareness since next month is Think Pink month. I also usually have a giveaway, but I am on the fundraising committee at work, as well as the Relay for Life for my county’s chapter. I feel kind of ‘charity-d out’. :sheepish:
Should I go ahead with a giveaway, but do something themed???
