I had a slightly runny nose this morning and my throat was a bit sore. Since had to go into the office today, I took daytime non-drowsy cold pill and went on my merry way. I was fine when I went in to see the boss man an get an update on what site projects he wanted to get done next. The projects have left me quite busy, but I am determine to blog regularly like I use to.

Anyway, when I got done and went to my car, I noticed that therewere flurries. I hate snow!!!! I hate cold even more. Before I left Centralia, I went to talk with my stepmom and noticed I wa a bit flush and warm to the touch, so I cut my visit as short as possible. By the time got driving down to Mount Vernon, I was feeling pretty crappy. I needed to get some work done and so I took another non-drowsy… I ended up falling asleep after quite a bit of struggling to stay awake. I slept for almost 3 hours and woke when my boyfriend caled to tell me he got off of work.

Non-drowsy cold pill or kick me out of my misery pill? Or maybe a kick me sign… I only took the Walmart cheap charlie Equate non-drowsy cold. That is strange. Anyone ever had an experience with taking non-drowsy cold pills that knocked you out???

For anyone who did not know, I resigned from Walgreens Distribution almost two weeks ago. I have already gotten another job doing web design with a local business owner out of Centralia. I am pretty pysched about it as I get to do what I have wanted. Well, it is a stepping stone. This has left my schedule free enough to actually take my son out Trick-or-Treating last Friday, October 31, 2008.

Sitely Stuff – I went through some files and found some old work that I will be putting into valid coding and offering up for WordPress layouts for download in a couple days. Right now I am concerned on fixing ANY deadlinks and images at the moment.

I got a new job as an independent contractor to web design for a gentleman in Centralia that owns several businesses. I am quite happy that my resume, my portfolio, and my interview were all up to snuff. I have been through a few interviews in the area, but this is my first since I had graduated. I am already knee deep into the projects he has and there are quite a few. Already he has liked some of my work. I will add those to my portfolio at ifreelance.com

Anyway, I treated myself to a few things, one being a set of chopsticks. The pic was done on camera phone, but they are light blue and have at the end a pic with navy, white, and gold, the theme colors of my home.

Pretty nifty, huh? And yes, I can eat with chopsticks quite well. I prefer to when I go eat sushi or to a Chinese restaurant.

By the way, elections are just around the corner. Anyone who is registered, do not forget to vote. Even one vote will count, so use it to make a difference. Truthfully, I am not going to get into who I am voting on here. I remember doing that four years ago, and people started calling each other names. I think there was over 72 blog comments on that entry. That was when I had my personal site on a subdomain over at Pixelled.com, my second domain I ever bought.

Site wise, I am contemplating on adding different templates and retiring a few for visitors to be able to download in the layout section. I am going to make a conscious effort to incorporate the sidebar.php file and more, but I also need to upgrade my script. So, in regards to that, if the site looks wonky, it is because I upgraded and I am currently working on it to fix it.

I know I mentioned using Blogrity as an awards site, but I think I will be making it a directory too and combining Pixelled Listings into it. However, I need a totally php webdirectory script that will work properly. I am tempted on breaking the book open and see what I can come up with… however, there are so many scripts out there, I might as well try. I could still modify the script if it needs it.

I did a few upgrades and plug-ins to the Wordpress, but I did have a few more to do. I have been mostly business writing a proposal for the AAPA VeteransCaucus site that I have been working on for the past year.

I have to make this blog short as we are currently in a severe thunderstorm warning in my county. It looks terrible from the west.

Luis is taking my son, Angel to Mexico by the end of the week. They will be gone to see his side of the family for about two weeks. Luis was very nice to allow him to stay this weekend. Since the pool in my apartment complex was opened, I took Angel to go swimming. I am just happy to have him over.
