Blondish.net is happy to now have VistaPrint as a sponsor.
I am happy to have them as a sponsor as I actually use them for my own business cards and have been quite happy with their services. I have to thank my friend Hesham of Famous Bloggers, who had been contacted about this opportunity and forwarded it to me. So… thank you so much Hesham!!!
I am accepting advertisers. My in house price is $15 a month currently and I will only be opening it for 3 and 6 month increments. As of August 2010, there are 2 spots left. I will be opening 4 spots in the comment area for $10 in the near future. This comes as a big decision because I really have been looking for better ways to monetize Blondish.net without seeking third party programs.
Just use my Blondish.net contact form if you are interested.

Blondish.net has been going through some gradual changes. This is to help with navigation and organization of the website. A lot of the static page articles, including tutorials have been added as posts instead.
I am gearing up to add a lot of things that I have worked on in the past year that are great tools… mostly free graphics.
Hence, I would like to encourage you to not just subscribe to my RSS feed, but also go to my sidebar and sign up for my weekly newsletter. I will most likely start using that to announce freebies like free WordPress layouts, free graphics and more.
Some changes that are to be expected are:
- Better organization to main pages (the ones listed at the top of the site)
- Addition of a category navigation menu
- Addition of my portfolio that I have been working on
- Blondish.net is also called BloggingAddict.net – While I almost want to change it over, I feel like the blog named sites have been done over and over, and Blondish.net has been my main home since 2006.
- Cleaning up sidebar and adding to footer. I need to add my network of sites.
For the client load I have taken on, this is an adequate list. Network wise,
- Pixelled.com will open mid-September as an art e-zine. That domain has been in my hands since 2003 and I really have not done much with it until now.
- Blogrity is going through a design re-vamp.
- The Listing – A Web Directory is getting a re-design and conversion to WordPress.
In the meantime, would love to hear any suggestions you might have for things you would like to see on the site, whether it might be specific topics or even graphics. Also, if you have some great blog tips, seo tricks, or tech news articles, feel free to guest write here at Blondish.net.

Alright, so after some inspiration and needing to revamp my link exchange buddies, I wanted to put together a dofollow list here at Blondish.net. Since it is new, pretty much there are no links.
The problem with regular link exchanges is that you end up linking with people who may not have relevance to your own site. I have made it a personal challenge to put together a DoFollow list of sites that are relevant my topics Blondish.net and list them in their specific niches.
Kind of a re-focus on link juice. I want to also be able to use this as a substitute of my own blogroll.
In order to be on the dofollow list, your site must be a dofollow site. Your site must also fall under one of the following categories:
- Social Media
- Blogging – (blog tips or a blog about blogging)
- Social Networking
- Tech
- Internet
- SEO
- WordPress
- Web Design
If your site does fall in those categories and you want to join in on the dofollow, fill out the form on The DoFollow List.

WordCamp Chicago is June 5th and 6th, 2010. It is a two day convention on WordPress related topics, as well as some helpful information for bloggers and site owners too. I will speaking on “Rocking Out Your Site With WordPress.”
I am nervous… but I am also excited to share what I love to talk about here at Blondish.net and WPAddict.net. I will be sharing pics and my powerpoint presentation once the convention is done. Maybe not so much here, but at my WordPress related site. However, I will keep everyone informed via Twitter and be taking lots of notes from all of the presentations I will be attending.
I also have a surprise interview to reveal VERY soon at WPAddict.net.
However, during that time, I am putting out a call for guest writers to cover those 3 days. Whether it is your opinion over current Internet related news (example: I have written recently my opinion on Facebooks privacy policy), or social media, web design, blogging, or even SEO, I am interested in hearing from you.
Bonus for you is that you get some link juice and possibly people coming over to visit your site. It would mean a lot to me and the readers here at Blondish.net. I have gotten some great feedback from many people who have enjoyed the guest bloggers. Some of my guest bloggers have even came back to write again.
Are you interested?

I have recently opened the blog to registration for authors/ guest writers since I have had quite a few submissions. I think it will be far more helpful than sending an email to me with the email in document form.
With that said, anyone who wrote in the past, even if you do not write in the future, you will have an author account as I am adjust the template. In fact, there has been a lot of content moving, and soon to be some dynamic page template changes to better allow each section of the site easier navigation.
These changes will also demonstrate how dynamic you can make your site. This was inspired because I will be speaking at WordCamp Chicago 2010 that your WordPress site can have a look that is more than a blog format. My topic is “Rocking Out Your Website With WordPress.” You can view the full program of WordCamp Chicago 2010 if you like.
With that said, anyone wanting to guest write can view the requirements and how to sign up by clicking on Guest Write Here. It can also be found at the top of this website in the main navigation.

Yes, that is correct! According to the title of this article, I will be search all over each week with a certain theme in mind to look for in WordPress sites. Some might be businesses, others might be personal sites. Some might be for art, and others for sports or technology, or politics. However, what they would have in common is that they all use WordPress.
It is one of the Weekly showcases I will be introducing. I am working on a couple others as well. So, if you have a site that is unique or well designed, that uses WordPress, then feel free to contact me. You can even suggest other sites too. Also, in regards to showcasing, as Blogrity (my new social bookmark website) becomes more active, I will be starting a section for people to submit a screenshot of their website and rate, called The Blogrity Showcase.
One thing I have always liked to do is visit other websites. In my dinosaur days in maintaining a website and blogging, I occasionally had ‘Site of the Week’. Why just feature one website when I could do that anytime? Why not feature several sites that meet a certain theme for a week.
Sounds interesting?

Wow, sometimes when I have good ideas, I find out it takes a lot more effort. For example, this new layout… I want the pages to have different templates depending on what it is.
For right now, I have excluded the Literary section and Movie Reviews. Those will go to different sites as they no longer are part of the focus I have been trying to make with this site.
Here is a list of some of the changes:
- Exclusion of Literature and Movie Review Pages
- Site Map was moved to domain section
- Graphics section is now named Resources
- Scripts (for my php scripts I developed) are under Resources
- Tutorials were moved to Resources
- Website Reviews were moved to Articles
This is a big revamp. Be excuse the mess as I am literally revamping over 200 static pages. Yes, I have a LOT of material. I would though appreciate your feedback on the layout at least. Thank you!

Technically Blondish.net turned 3 years old during May. With the layout to be unveiled, it will be the 8th version. If all goes well with this version, I will be retiring the others (Premium Blondish and Mustang), and giving them out as free WordPress layouts. I have already been asked about the Premium Blondish layout and I will strip it of the ‘blondish’ information for the layout. If anyone wants customizations of it, I charge $50 and I allow you to do anything you like, plus you get support for your layouts. (Yeah, sorry, had to slip that in, but I have already done a few customs using this template.)
I am a bit late on a layout change, but the one previewed (It is just the top part), should be up and unveiled by Sunday evening! Some of the things on the site are getting moved to their more comfortable places, like another domain of mine. This is all tied in with the re-focus of the blog that I had mentioned months ago. Some of the pages will have their own templates. I am hoping with WP-PageNavi and Yoast Breadcrumbs to do away with the older navigation to come up with something more clean. From the preview, you can see that it will retain the black, white, pink and golden tones. The guitar is a vector I made. In fact, I will have a vector tutorial on it ready as a wonderful addition.
I have also asked a few people to please write some guest posts. I would not mind if anyone else wanted to. Just give me a shout out at Twitter or here in my comments.
So, what do you think? Does the preview image look promising?
