I have completed the website review of Velociteen. The site has a great focus, but the design really needs some work.

After all of this mess, the telephone company finally put the pole for the telephone line up and is working on their part to restore the line. However, too bad for them…. I am getting cable internet. I decided to cancel my home phone because even dial-up or dsl would equal out to the cost of cable internet or even more.

I just cannot believe the lack of speed in how things like when that drunk guy hit the telephone pole and it broke. You would think they look after these things better.

So, after Thursday, I will be able to get on a bit more. I am still helping out with my folks.

On Thursday I have a website review that I will post since I completed it. I had to make a lot of notes and then put it together offline.

Yep, you heard it! Fifty new 100 x 100 pixel icons for you to use whether for forums, your own gravatar, your twitter profile pic or more. Just save to your own computer and then load to where you store your images.

From suggestions from the last time I updated this section, I will be doing some holiday ones. I do have some fandom ones, but I decided to only share those at my LiveJournal blog.

I am really happy to say that there are a few things that are soon to added to this site. In fact, here is a list:

• sanrio pixel fanart available for download and use
• anime fanart section
• 10 vectors in PNG format will be available for download and use
• more fanfics that I have written are to be posted
• illustrations to my novel, Shinju no Miko (which is changing to The Pearl Priestess)
• A few more tutorials

Some of this is already finished, but I have been keeping an agenda on what I want to put up. By the end of the week, I will be putting up banner ad spots, which will be $5 a month for now. Later on the price may change depending on site stats and demand. I am sorry for the delay on that as I know through email that you have been wondering when I would do this.

Yes, that is right… five more desktop wallpapers available for download.

All wallpapers come in JPEG format and 3 different resolutions: 800×600, 1024×768, and 1280×1024. The previous wallpapers were greatly welcomed. I even got tips in my paypal from them so I must have done something right.

Anyway… feel free to use them. If you want to use the images for layouts, you can. I even can provide the PNG format of each of them for clarity, but you will have to use the contact form to request the one you need.

If anyone has been looking around the site, not only have more graphics been added (as mentioned in previous posts), but there have been more tutorials in the articles section. I have been dusting off the old tutorials and re-writing them with flare. It is not easy to write a tutorial. Anyone who does write them knows that as there will always be someone who may not understand it even if you think it is written in the simplest manner.

Also, I will most likely be applying some banner advertising to Blondish.net. I will be having 4 spots at the 125x 125 pixel banners in the sidebar. The cost will be $5 per month, or $12 for 3 months. Since January of this year, Blondish.net has gone from a rank of over 1.6 million to a little over 300,000 in Alexa. That is a significant amount of traffic! This will help fund my server… gotta pay the bills, and my sites are well used. Blondish.net has never been this high. Even though I am disappointed that that Google Page Rank is still at 2 when mid 2008, it was at a PR 5, I am persistant to make sure my site offers a lot that can be used.

As internet users are finding rss feeds very convenient to catch the latest news of their favorite sites, I thought that making some creative RSS icons would be great to add to the site. Here are but a few examples:

Of course, If you have any ideas for more, feel free to leave a comment on this blog post and I will see if I can get more done soon. Since I am blogging from the library (phone is down due to someone running into the poll and taking down the line), I have had plenty of time offline to get a few fun things finished.
