When I had Twitter going to my phone, I ended up having to get rid of it due to getting calls from Verizon stating that we were going way over our limit. Frankly, they shouldn’t offer unlimited text if they don’t want people to use it.

However, in a lot of cases, parents limiting teens to how much texting they can use will play a big part in kids not using Twitter, as well as the fact that Twitter has become a place to advertise and network, something teens really don’t need to do.
