Eventually every WordPress user encounters some type of issue at some point. WordPress is easy to find, free to download, and free to use, but not always easy to learn or troubleshoot for everyone. Each individual learns and uses at their own pace, and often, depending on how they learned to use WordPress, their method may not be the same. So, how can you get support for your WordPress site?
How to Get Support for your WordPress Site
You can find support for your WordPress site on several social networks. Please note that the list below is a pick that I believe add a lot of value. You are more than welcome to comment below on what other communities are adding value. I will review them as I’m more than happy to edit this list, but I’m not here to list umpteen million groups that do the same exact thing. Believe me, there are tons of places online that are dedicated to WordPress help.
There are so many communities, even broken down to focus on specific plugins, and themes too!
WordPress community on Google+ – This large community of around 50,000 members caters to most areas of WordPress for Google+ users.
WordPress Development at Stack Exchange
WordPress tag at Stack Overflow
WPQuestions – This site allows you to ask questions and get them solved quickly, but for money. Members at WPQuestions leave their answers, and the one that works, you can reward them with cash.
This list could grow in the future, so stay tune. Also, as said earlier, you’re welcome to suggest more to this list. I will definitely consider them, but they MUST add value to the WordPress community, and must not be riddled with self-linking and spam.
If you join any of the places listed above, please remember to read their rules. Some of them are a little more strict about what can be shared. Some are focused on advanced topics or specific topics. The majority of these places do have rules, so it’s important to be aware of them before participating.
